CHINESE SILVER FILIGREE
SALVER |
Beautiful hand made with 5
spread winged bats forming rim, 5.25”diameter and marked “silver” on one of
the three ball feet, total weight 3.05 troy ozt. Mounted in a fitted silk
covered wooden box with friction fitted lid. With original carved teak stand,
17”high and two striking mallets. Bell has a very pleasing tone. |

Lot of four, including a Tibetan
bronze figural hand mirror, 10.75”long; plus Meiji period bronze pen holder
in the form of a tree stump covered in flowers in fine dark brown patina, 4
x2 x 3”high; plus Meiji period bronze vase with bats, 6”high; and Anglo
Indian bronze figural incense burner in the form of a Goddess riding an
elephant, 5.5”high. All but last late 19th century, last is early 20th. |

WONDERFUL CHINESE ENAMELED
SILVER RETICULATED GOLDFISH SCULPTURE |
With filigree fan-tail,
pop-eyes, open mouth, with fine shaded enamel decoration and reticulated body
which allows the fish to appear to be swimming while in motion, suspended
from a silver chain with finger ring, 6.5”long x 5”wide fan tail x 2.5”high,
less chain, unmarked, 3.65 troy ozt. In a fitted silk covered wooden case,
6.25 x 8.25 x 3.5”high |

from the same piece of stone which grades from tan to variegated reds, each
surmounted by a foo lion with ball in mouth. Each has a different seal carved
on base, 3.25”high. Both mounted together in a fitted silk covered wooden
case with examples of each seal stamped on rice paper. |
