with Roman numerals, seashells and seaweed in lunette & spandrels,
seconds dial above center,original steel hands. Wooden 30 hour time &
strike weight driven movement, lacking pendulum & weights. Pine case in
original red over yellow grain paint, bonnet with cut-out fretwork pediment
with square plinths over cove molded crest, tombstone door with original
brass ring pull, flanked by full turned columns with turned capitals and
plinths. Waist with overlapping thumb molded edged door with original brass
pull, cove molding at top and cove & quarter round below. Base with
cut-out Hepplewhite feet and scroll cut apron, 18 1/4 x 10 1/2 x 90 1/2"

Polychrome painted wooden dial
with Roman numerals, spread winged U.S. shield breasted eagle in lunette with
E. Pluibus Unum above, spandrels with roses. German brass weight drive wag on
the wall type movement in wooden frame with original weights and pendulum.
Case with broken arch topped dovetailed bonnet with inlaid maple circles on
terminals, curly maple tombstone door with period brass pull, flanked by
curly maple full turned columns with blocked and turned capitals and plinths.
Waist with overlapping door with original brass knob and thumb molded edge,
flanked by sausage turned quarter columns, curly maple panel above door, cove
molding above and below, both bordered with cherry beaded trim. Base with
beaded surround and cut-out Hepplewhite style feet with apron's central drop
inlaid with compass star, pine secondary wood, 18 1/4 x 10 1/2 x 93"

broken arch topped bonnet with round terminals and central plinth, tombstone
door with original brass pull, flanked by 3/4 columns front and rear, cross
banding above door. Waist with overlapping door with thumb molded edge in
highly figured mahogany with cove molding above and below. Base with cross

with cut-out fret work crest and three reeded square plinths with center
having brass ball and eagle finial,period wallpaper cap on top of bonnet,
tombstone door with brass key escutcheon, flanked by full reeded columns with
cast brass capitals and plinths. Waist with tombstone form overlapping door
with round edges, chamfered corners with lambs tongue terminals. Base with
paneled front and matching chamfered corners, flat to the floor in original
old varnish finish, pine secondary wood, 20 x 10 x 91" high. |

corners and arch top glass door. Base with applied molding on front and

inlaid mahogany case with bonnet having broken arch top with rosette
terminals, flanked by unusual block plinths and five pointed star in center
with mirrored center. Tombstone door with fluted half columns with turned
half capitals and plinths, and string inlay, flanked by full fluted columns
with matching capitals and plinths. Waist with overlapping door with nice
scroll cut-out top inlaid with two ovals and string inlay, flanked by fine
full fluted columns with turned capitals and tall string inlaid plinths,
panel above door with satinwood inlaid swags, panel above door with satinwood
inlaid swags, fine cove molding above and below. Base with chamfered corners
with lambs tongue terminals at bottom and front with string and fan inlay,
ogee bracket feet, oak & pine secondary woods, all in original varnish
finish, 23 x 9 1/2 x 92 1/2" high. |
