rod, lacking bob and weights. Poplar & pine case in original old dark
varnish finish, flat topped bonnet with tombstone shaped glass front, side
doors with period brass locks. Waist with inset door with panel and matching
lock as above, cove molding above and below. Interior of waiste door
with period inked inscription reading H.H. Kelsey Ap. 19 1857/Feb. 9 1895.
Base with cut-out Hepplewhite style feet with central drop on apron, 18 x 11

Gothic Chippendale Musical Carillon Bells Tall Case Clock |
English, circa 1800 with unclear
painted name on polychrome painted steel dial, with Roman numerals, phase of
the moon in lunate, spandrels with four ladies representing the four seasons,
center of dial with nice landscape painting with castle, name on dial appears
to be S.G. Alaton, Tid_s__ , three winding holes. Brass weight driven English
bell strike movement with set of 8 graduated nested bells along right side,
set above pin activated brass drum with 8 hammers that plays carillon bells,
all three weights and pendulum. Case in inlaid mahogany with broken arch
topped bonnet with ornate cast bronze floral scroll terminals, flanked by
period ball & spike finials, over gold painted floral scroll work on
green field, tombstone door with cross banding and string inlay with period
brass pull, flanked by full fluted columns with cast brass capitals and
plinths. Waist with overlapping door with triple Gothic arched top and
stepped molding surround, with book matched crotch grain veneer front,
original cast brass key escutcheon, flanked by wonderful triple Gothic
columns with turned capitals, middle band and plinths, resting on inlaid
rectangular plinth bases at corners, fluted frieze above with three carved
oval medallions, cove molding above and below. Base with book matched veneer
front, chamfered and fluted corners with lambs tongue terminal at base,
stepped bracket base, all in original old varnish finish, pine secondary
wood, 20 3/4 x 11 1/2 x 84" high. |

K.C.V.O., K.B.E., T.D. Deputy Master of Comptroller 1922-1938, with worn
commemorative British crown sized coin in center, reverse of which has two
buildings with surrounding inscription The Royal Mint London. Hallmarked with
London date letter D and R.C in shield makers mark. K.C.O.V. is for a
knighted individual and Deputy Master of Comptroller worked at the Royal
Mint, 4 1/4" diameter total weight 4.45 ozt. |

with inset rectangular door with Gothic arched panel and cock beaded edging,
original brass escutcheon, chamfered corners with lambs tongue terminals,

square plinths, over cross banded front with ebony and satinwood inlay,
tombstone door in oak with mahogany cross banding and period brass pull,
flanked by full reeded columns with cast brass Corinthian capitals and Ionic
plinths. Waist with overlapping door with thumb molded edge in oak with
mahogany cross banding and inlaid pointed oval in center with seashell,
flanked by full reeded columns with matching brass capitals and plinths as
bonnet, cove molding above and below. Base in oak with inlaid geometric
designs in mahogany with chamfered corners with lambs tongue terminal at
