attached to brass plate dial with stylized floral engraving. Unusual brass
bell strike movement with side mounted crown escapement, weight driven,

door with thumb molded edge and original brass handle, glass side lights.
Waist with overlapping door with circular window and stepped edge molding

overlapping AA, fine engraved details. Bras frame with hinged brass doors on
each side and brass plate at rear, weight driven crown escapement brass
movement with top mounted bell and smaller side mounted bell beneath, turned
brass posts and nice turned brass feet, with turned brass finial surmounting
bell and cut-out scrolled crests on each side above movement, original chain
for weights, lacking weights and pendulum, 6" square x 15 1/2"
high. Clock includes an early scroll cut wood bracket wall shelf in old
varnish, made for this clock. |

Henry Ireland at ye Bell in Southbury Fecit. Brass weight driven movement with
brass bell at top and turned brass posts with finials at corners and atop
bell, brass top and bottom plates with turned brass feet, lacking pendulum, 5
3/4" square x 15 1/2" high. Clock included a scroll cut mahogany
wall bracket, made for this clock, 18th or early 19th century. |

three plinths with brass finials, over door with inlaid diamond key
escutcheon and original polychrome painted lower tablet with two large
neo-classical buildings, flanked by full turned and tapered columns with
turned and blocked capitals and plinths, over scroll cut-out bracket feet,
original tin pulley caps, 17 1/2 x 4 3/4 x 31 1/2" high. This clock came
with a note written by a Mrs. Harriet K. Harris of Eaton, Ohio, who states
that it was bought from a clock vendor, off a wagon in Rockport, Penn. and
later brought by covered wagon into Ohio and once was in the lobby of the
Rossman Hotel in Eaton, Ohio. |

and pendulum. Mahogany case with broken arched top with turned rosette
terminals and central plinth cap, with banded string inlay below, tombstone
door with brass pull, flanked by full square tapered reeded columns with cast
