inset red veined white marble top with carved floral scroll and beaded
suround, pierced apron carved with fruit and leaves, plain inset shelf below.
Four carved carbriol legs with carved dragon mask knees with floral caring on
legs and claw and ball feet, in old cleaned finish. 19 1/2" diameter x 26
1/2" high. |

Signed Carved Chinese Armchair |
Fully carved with arched back
having a dragon with inset carved eyes, entwined with the pair of dragons
forming the arms of the chair, both with matching eyes. The back of the back
has carved cluds, while the seat has a large moth in circle with carved relief
floral at front. The legs have dragon mask knees with wings expanding into
the aprons on front and sides, which also have cloud carvings, ball feet, in
original dark finish. Signed on
back leg. 27" wide x 19
1/2" deep x 35" high with sest height at 17". |
One eye missing, a few very

two handled sugar bowl and creamer, all marked with Whitings lion &
"W" mark, "Sterling with shape number and size, total weight
of sterling 41.20 ozt. The tray is unmarked with vintage pattern, 16 x

Beautifully carved from single
piece with central disc in fine white jade and the carved floral scroll in
light brown on either end. The disc has high relief branch of cherry blossoms
and the reverse has engraved rat standing on hind legs and holding a pestle
inside a morter with cloud or wave type design along upper left margin,
mounted on white and green silk cord with single white jade bead. The pendant
is 1 1/8" wide x 1 3/4" long. |
