77 ERNEST "POPEYE" REED FOLK ART SCULPTURE Fine sandstone nude Indian squaw sitting on stump breast feeding baby with arms and legs crossed.  Nicely detailed.  Signed "E. Reed" on front.  Excellent condition.  18 1/2" h.  6 1/2" w.  8" d.  Found in Chillicothe, OH from family who knew and personally purchased from Popeye Reed.  This is a great original Popeye Reed sculpture.    Ernest "Popeye" Reed (1919-1985) was born in Jackson, OH.  By 1964 he was selling his carvings as tourist items by the road side.  In 1968 he was able to become a full time artist.  He began showing his work in various places including state fairs.  In 1980 Reed was featured in Folk Art Encyclopedia of Twentieth Century American Folk Art and Artists.  EST.  $1,000. - $2,000.

88 AMERICAN, COIN SILVER JULEP CUP Fine julep cup with heavy beading at the top and bottom.  The cup was retailed by M. W. Galt & Bros. from Alexandria, Virginia.  The Galt Bros. had such patrons as Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis.  Ca. 1850 - 1870.  Cup is monogrammed "L.V.T."  Few minor dings.  3 1/2" h.  4.5 troy oz.  EST.  $300. - $600.
89 W. R. EVANS, KENTUCKY, COIN SILVER JULEP CUP Kentucky julep cup with light beaded rings at the top and bottom.  The cup is marked "W. R. Evans" over "Premium".  Evans was a Cincinnati, Ohio silversmith in the 1840's.  In the 1850's he was in business in Covington, Kentucky.  Excellent condition.  3 1/2" h.  4.5 troy oz.  EST.  $500. - $750
90 RUSSIAN SILVER ICE TEA GLASS HOLDER  Marked(840/960 standard).  The holder has engraved 1" h. letters around the body of the cup.  The holder has hallmarks on the handle, body and on the bottom "AE" and "84".  Ca. 1896-1907.  2.7 troy oz.  EST.  $100. - $150.
91 JACQUES FAMECHON 1770 SILVER BEAKER Antique French silver beaker by Jacques Famechon (1770) Paris, France.  The beaker is tulip shaped and engraved or chased and footed.  Inscribed at the bottom of the foot "L. Brancher B Pouzadovx"  4 1/2" h.  5 troy oz.  EST.  $300. - $500.
92 EARLY 1817-18 SILVER CHILD'S CUP  Antique silver child's cup heavily embossed with flowers and "Matie" engraved in the shield.  The cup has four clear marks, but the maker's mark was filled in from an early repair.  The date mark "1817-18, London England".  3" h.  3 troy oz.  EST.  $100. - $200.
93 Garrard & Co. Silver Covered Cup Sterling silver covered cup, hallmarked by "Garrard & Co. Ltd., London, England (1925)"  The cup was presented as a trophy in 1933 at "San Andres Golf Club/Scroggie Memorial Cup/Winner/ W. J. Ehrke/ 1933".  Double handled with nice bell shaped finial lid.  The Garrard & Co. Ltd. was the royal goldsmith of that era.  6" h.  10.30 troy oz.  EST.  $200. - $400.
