89 W. R. EVANS, KENTUCKY, COIN SILVER JULEP CUP

Kentucky julep cup with light beaded rings at the top and bottom.  The cup is marked "W. R. Evans" over "Premium".  Evans was a Cincinnati, Ohio silversmith in the 1840's.  In the 1850's he was in business in Covington, Kentucky.  Excellent condition.  3 1/2" h.  4.5 troy oz.  EST.  $500. - $750
