276 ALEX BOYD, GLASCOW TALL CASE CLOCK  Beautiful mahogany case with bonnet top with unusual round face dial marked "Alex Boyd, Glascow" with weight driven brass works, ca. 1850.  Replaced weights, otherwise fine condition.  81 1/2" h.  19" w.  9" d.  EST.  $1,000. - $2,000.
277 DUGAN AND KLUMP MOUSE CLOCK Early 20th Century Dugan and Klump Mouse wall clock. Hickory, Dickory, Dock nursery rhyme stenciled on base.  Brass numbers 1-12 and repeat of 1 at top in vertical column with slot along right side along with a white painted mouse, moves.  Original brass works and label on inside of door.  Two numerals missing, and small bottom board on front missing, otherwise in fine condition.  EST.  $600. - $1,000.

279 FEDERAL PERIOD MAHOGANY  AMERICAN SEWING STAND Federal Period American sewing stand with original brass paw feet, two dovetailed drawers between two side lidded compartments and reeded front and reeded column.  Fine original finish.  Poplar and mahogany secondary woods.  Slight split to top and base, otherwise fine condition.  28 1/2" h.  26" w.  15" d.  EST.  $600. - $1,200.
280 PAINT DECORATED CARRYING BASKET  Overall red painted basket with black sponge and splotched decoration.  Unusual form with early wooden turned posts on each corner with split hickory sides and bottom.  Fine condition.  22" h.  20" w.  15" d.  EST.  $150. - $350.
281 N. COURIER HAND COLORED MEMORIAL PRINT Published by N. Courier, Sprice St., New York, 1831.  Memorial states, "In memory of Mr. Jacob Stahl who departed his life September 6, 1831 at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 4 days".   In original frame.  Some staining, otherwise in fine condition.  Few light stains. 16 1/2" h.  12" w.  EST.  $150. - $350.

283 PERIOD MINIATURE FRENCH MARQUETRY COMMODE  Miniature French marquetry commode, ca. 1780.  Great miniature Bombay commode with three drawers and fruit wood inlay.  Bombay sides with fan and fruit inlay.  Top with floral fruit wood inlay.  Dovetailed drawers with rose head nail construction on drawers and back.  Very nice miniature commode.  Fine condition.  12" h.  17" w.  9 1/2" d.  EST.  $800. - $1,500.

Mahogany wood and veneered base with maple and rosewood inlaid octagonal top. Early dovetailed construction of legs in base. Pine and poplar secondary woods. Striking Federal Period game table. 294 PETER TUTTLE MASON CO., KENTUCKY CHERRY SERPENTINE FRONT CHEST Original Peter Tuttle, Mason County, Kentucky cherry serpentine front chest on frame with cabriole legs. Dovetailed case with five graduated cherry drawers and secondary woods of poplar and pine. The apron is scalloped with a large central lobe and the side aprons are shaped as deep double-cyma curves. The chest is in "as found" condition with original finish. Veneer chips, missing cock-bead, replaced pulls, and larger hole at key escutcheon in bottom drawer. A museum quality piece of Kentucky furniture. 44 1/4" w. x 23 1/4" d. x 47 1/2" h. Peter Tuttle was born in Prince William County, Virginia in 1782 and arrived in Mason County, Kentucky, some time before 1810 when he married Elizabeth Calvert. He was working in Fleming County in 1828 and later worked in Nicholas County. He died in Missouri in 1859. 296 EARLY WORK TABLE WITH OLD MUSTARD PAINT American, ca. 1840. Three board top with breadboard ends with one dovetailed drawer with original knob and Hepplewhite legs. Base with old mustard paint.
