Royal Furniture Company Arts
& Crafts Tall Case Clock |
In the style of Gustav Stickley,
with inverted beveled top, two glass doors, and arched stretcher base, brass
dial and works with wooden acorn chain drops and brass weights. Excellent original finish. 77 1/4" H x 24" W x 14
1/2" D. Royal Furniture
Company, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Alexander Hompe served as the company's head
designer. J. Stuart Clingman
designed special order furniture for the Tobey Furniture company in Chicago
before becomming Royal's assistant designer in 1903. In 1919 Royal combined with the
Phoenix Furniture Company. |

Rare Pair Lalique "Leizards
et Bluets" Vases |
Circa 1913, in even rarer
factory gold matt finish with brown patina, molded with bands of lizards
chasing each other with floral surrounds, raised block letter "R.
Lalique" at basal edge of each. Both with ground and polished bases with
original gold factory finish on bases. One signature has lower 1/8th of
lettering ground away in factory. 8" diameter x 13 1/4" high. |

Candlestick |
Bronze piece has a vining bronze
branch with flower terminal, acting as candle socket, wrapped around a large
cameo type marine gastrodod. Perched on the stem is a bronze song bird with
the back inset with a cowie shell. Crawing along the stem are two bronze
snails with real gastropod shells on their backs, all in nice original brown
patina. 7" x 4 1/2" x 7
