Chinese Tang Dynasty Pottery
with European Bronze Mounts |
This piece has a bulbous mottled
glazed vase segment in rich earth tones, along with a base in same, with
European bronze and enamel decorated mounts at top and middle. The Tang
vessel is clearly only two framents of a larger piece, mounted together with
the bronze, but still quite attactive. The mounts are circa 1870's, while pottery is circa 600-900 AD. 7" high. |
