Oskamp.This flatware set has a total of 65 pieces including twelve 7 5/8" large forks, twelve 7 1/16" small forks, twelve 7" dessert spoons, twenty-three 5 3/5" teaspoons and six 8 9/16" tablespoons.All pieces are beautifully engraved and have the company's earliest silver mark, the C & O in diamonds cartouche.Ca. 1850.All pieces are monogrammed "C.M.B.".Found in Hamilton, Ohio from family descendant stating this flatware set was from the family of Colonel Carlton Bates of Hamilton, Ohio.61 troy oz.
