Coin silver waste bowl made by Bancroft Woodcock (1732 - 1817), Wilmington, Delaware.The bowl has beaded borders on a square base and measures 6" across and 4 1/4" tall.The base is 3 1/4" square, and on the outside of the base the cartouche "B. Woodcock 1792".There are initials "J.R.N." engraved on the bowl.It is possible the initials stand for Joseph and Nathaniel Richardson of Philadelphia, who Woodcock worked with.
