KENTUCKY /CINCINNATI WHISKEY
FLASK WALKING STICK |
In form of umbrella with silver on copper knob, threaded and opens to reveal hollow tub in which a 15 1/4" etched glass flask is hidden. The etched inscription on flask reads "Luxor Distilling Co., Cincinnati, O. Kentucky Todd Whiskey". Cane has tapered wood shaft with black cloth and varnished surface, total length 35 1/2". The Luxor Distilling Co. was on the southwest corner of 3rd. and Race St. in Cincinnati. The company appeared in the 1916-18 city directories. Wear to cloth, otherwise fine condition. |
