Cast Iron Train Set in Original
Wood Box |
Rarely does one fine these toys
in there original dovetailed wooden box with lid and printed and illustrated
paper label. This four piece train set with two cast iron figures is in its
original painted finish with black and red wood fired type locomotive, 8 1/4
x 2 1/2 x 5 1/4" high, with red tender with embossed 187 on sides and
two open box cars with C.P.R.R. on sides, two men in railroad uniforms, 2
7/8" high. Box is dovetailed pine with sliding lid and green paper label
at one end with illustration of this train with figure and No 187 in upper
right corner Iron Freight Train below image of train and list of included
pieces below. Label is missing parts but 75% intact, box is 8 x 10 3/4 x 3
1/2" high. |
