In chromed finish with 28”
single edged blade with ¾ length fuller etched with U.S. Army Eagle
and floral scroll on right face and “”U.S.” and floral scroll on left, marked
on left ricasso “Henry Vallien/& Co./New York” and on right with Star of
David and “Proved” in center. Hilt with cast single piece open work
guard/quillon, single piece stepped pommel with full backstrap and ribbed
front collar, black plastic grip, total length 33.5” with leather sword knot
(possible Japanese). Scabbard also in chromed finished steel with stepped
throat, two carrying rings and drag, total length, 29”. WWII era. |

Masonic in silver finish with 28” acid etched double edged blade marked
“The/Pettybone/Bros./MFG. Co./Cinti. O.” on ricasso with Crusaders on blade.
Cast brass bar type guard with crown terminals and Jerusalem cross, langet with
crown and cross, chain knuckle bow, knights helm pommel with chain knuckle
bow, etched ivory grip with image of crusader and cross and crown with laurel
wreath surrounding entwined “RL”, total length 37”. Scabbard in polished
nickeled steel with throat, cast brass top band with crusader tent atop red
cross and inscription in Latin
“In Hoc Signo Vinces”, middle band with cast entwined initials and cast drag
again with Jerusalem cross, total length 29”. Sword & scabbard come with
original tooled brown ;leather case with name plate in nickel reading “Ralph
Lentz/Marysville/Ohio”, stamped “The Pettybone/Mf’g Co./Cin. O.”, total
length 39”. |

grip with inset nickeled brass cross, total length 37”. Scabbard in oxidized
nickeled steel with acid etched name of owner, throat, cast brass top band
with shield, crossed weapons and helm with crown and cross below, middle band
with similar cast motifs and cast drag again with similar motifs, total
length 31”. |

painted wood grip, total length 36.5”. Nickeled brass scabbard with top band
having two carrying rings and cross with entwined snake, throat and acorn
terminal drag, total length 31.5”. |

steel blade acid etched with name of owner and “K.O.T.M.” Ricasso marked
“Cincinnati/Regalia Co./Cincinnati, O.” cast floral bar type guard with
langet shield with globe with crusader tent and “M.C.’ with crossed swords
above and from upper left to lower left “KO/TM/R/U”. Cast Bell form pommel
with standing knights armor at side. Leather wrapped grip with braided brass
wire wrap and plain silver front collar, total length 35”. Nickel finish
steel scabbard with plain throat, cast brass upper band with figure of a
knight with scroll surround and two carrying rings, middle band with
crusaders tent and single carrying ring and stylized floral drag, total
length 29”. |
Wear to silver finish, scuffing
to leather and light oxidation on scabbard. |
