border in four places with U.S. flags, compass star center with stylized
floral scroll, birds and horse surround, intact border fringe, 72”square with
2”fringe along two sides. |

oil on canvas of three adorable young sisters with their pet dog by James
Ramsay (1786-1854, United Kingdom) done in 1806. A well listed artist known for his
paintings of young children. This
would be one of his earliest works. Signed "Js. Ramsay Pinx 1806" on back. Housed in original 34" x 40"
