protect the glass, peaked top with punched sunburst design with 5-pointed
star in center and punched six-pointed stars around base, large ring handle at

While this form is seen in tin
often, we have never seen it in copper, drum form oil font with threaded cap
and attached C form handle, tin burner with clear glass chimney and fixed
copper reflector shade attached to font, circa 1860's, 9 inches wide and deep
x 11 3/4 inches high, polished. This piece was reportedly purchased from the
U.S. Grant home in Georgetown, Ohio. |
