UNUSUAL BLACK FOREST SHELF

Walnut in Gothic style with
typical applied floral carvings, turned wood dial with cello Roman numerals
and ornately carved bone hands. Brass time, strike & horns spring driven
movement, stamped “B”. This interesting clock has an hour strike and three
different bellow operated tin horns, each with a different tone, in original
finish with original key and pendulum. Instead of a bird that emerges from
double doors above dial a hand painted wooden British red-coated soldier with
bugle emerges on the hour and ½ hour, 21.75 x 12 x 7”. |
One bellows needs repair, else
