with "W.E. Huguenin" signature. This is a minute repeater and in

in near mint condition, with "E.H." monogrammed on front lid. It has a 9 carat gold link style

London Sterling hallmarks for 1775 with makers mark of “SP” on both cases.

BATALHA STEEPLE CLOCK |
This American clock was made for
the Brazilian market and includes several letters from members of the NAWC
about this clock. None of the writers appear to know who made these clock,
but most agree it is American. It is in a mahogany case in original finish
with original finials and painted tablet. The dial is printed paper over tin
with brass surround and cast brass alarm wheel in center with brass 8-day
time, strike & alarm spring driven movement, original pendulum and key,
and painted over label on back reading “Batalha”, 20 x 11.5 x 5”. |
