token slot at right side. This clock has an unmarked brass time & strike
spring driven movement , lacking pendulum & key, but it does have the
elaborated coin operated mechanism on interior. Made to receive U.S. nickels
(5 cent piece) and return a penny sized token. The back has its original lock
and key, worn makers label on front, 16.5 x 12 x 7.25”. |

movement marked with “New Haven/Trade Mark in circle with 6-pointed star in

ALARM CLOCK |
In a “Hallie” Adamantine
finished wood case with cello columned front with gilt cast capitals,
plinths, scroll feet and lion mask handles at sides. The printed paper dial
over tin is marked “Seth Thomas/Automatic/Eight Day Long Alarm/Patented Aug.
25, 1908” and has cast silvered alarm set wheel just below the numeral 12. It
is also marked along bottom of dial “Manufactured In The United States of
America”. There is a brass lever just below the beaded brass bezel and an
extra key hole in case front below this lever. The brass time, strike &
alarm spring driven movement is marked with “ST in diamond set in circle and
“Made In/America”. It has an alarm bell mounted to floor of case and includes
original pendulum. Back has partial printed paper label, with directions
& “Adamantine…Seth Thomas”, 11 x 16 x 7”. |
