signed artist signatures from the early 20th Century. 21 1/2" x 15 1/2". A rare collection of penciled artist's
signatures, Circa 1932, on an E.L. Blumenschein print. Samual T. Shaw, collector, artist and
patron of early 20th Century artists, dedicated this print with its
collection of signatures to his friend David Tanszky. He had his fellow members of the
Salmagundi Club in New York City sign the bottom of the sheet as a
memento. Approximately 48
signatures by a fine group of American artists. |

hand painted vase singed with C inside a square, the monogram of Arthur P.
Conant, with painted inscription at white horizontal band at shoulder reading
“+ Viltorir –B- Cugy + PII - L. Brown + New Blue + Vie. - L. Brown +
PII. – B Clay”, dated 1907 with shape number 2068, 5.5”high. The
painted inscription is referring to the different glazes and the clay body of
the vase, a very rare example that is decorative as well as useful to the
artist. |
