In heavy brown cow hide with
owners name painted on the bottom "J.C. Thaw Pittsburgh U.S.A.".
Interior with a chromolithographed liner of an 1867 illustrated wall map of
the U.S. and British Canadian provinces with lift out silk covered heavy card
stock forms to keep the hat in form and clean. Exterior with large red
painted circle on side and brass lock with strap handle on lid. 13" x 14 1/2" x 16"
