SS ORANGE SHIP DECK LOUNGE CHAIR |
Wood folding lounge chair with
brass hardware and brass plaques which read "S.S. Orange & 1st Class
Only". The S.S. Orange was
built in 1938/39 by the Nederland Shipbuilding Co. in Amsterdam. She was a passenger ship from 1939
until 1941, when she became a hospital ship during WWII. In 1946 she was restored to her former
condition as a luxury liner and continued this service until 1964. Good condition. 36 1/2" h x 21 1/2" x
