old polished patina, carved with ball handle over 1 1/4" tapered section
over engraved disc, with square block below with Masonic square, two types of
hammers and pliers, over main body of cane carved with full relief figures of
four people, two men and two women, all in hats and ladies in long gowns,
over two standing spread winged crested birds, likely roosters, over full
relief human head with full relief snake, coiled around shaft with barrel
form near base, 36 1/2" total length. |
Upper lady has lost left arm,
and lower has lost both arms, many years ago with old polished surfaces at
breaks, cane has been broken in two pieces, dowled and glued, still a very
