1883-1956) floral watercolor, signed and dated, "Glen Tracy 1925"
upper left corner. Image size 16
3/8" x 21 1/2", framed 23" x 29 1/4". Glen Tracy was born in Hudson,
Michigan on January 29, 1883. He
died in Sarasota, Florida, April 1956. He studied with Frank Duveneck at the Art Academy of Cincinnati. He also taught at the art academy for
some years. He was a published
illustrator, enjoyed traveling and painting. His work appeared in almost 30
exhibitions at the Cincinnati Art Museum. |
