A well executed period Chippendale chair, possibly by a prominent furniture maker, with opposed "S" scrolled satinwood with sand burned details inlay at crest, pierced splat, satinwood flowers and leaves within oval line inlay at top of legs and inlaid strips below that. Old finish. Repair to top crest and inlays missing at base of legs. Found in Rhode Island. 39" h x 19 1/2" w x 17" d. EST. $500. - $1000. |
