An outstanding and elegant mahogany with burl Romweber dining room suite. Signed "Romweber, Batesville, Indiana". The set consists of two arm and four side chairs with carved cabriole legs, carved backs and crests; the table also with carved cabriole legs and swags of carved flowers at mid leg, the table top with gadroon edge carving, center burl, two 15" leaves with attached apron and fitted table pads; the china cabinet with center glass door with overlay lattice carving, two bowed cupboard doors below, gadroon carving all around and a great 9 3/4" pierced carved crest; the semi-circular buffet with two burled center drawers flanked by burled cupboard doors at each side, all around gadroon carving and center burled top and the semi-circular server with two burled cupboard doors, all around gadroon carving and center burled top. A wonderful set in absolutely pristine condition.
