Joseph Henry Gest (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1859-1935) 10" x 16 1/2" oil on wood panel of landscape. Signed lower left "J.H. Gest". Joseph Gest was director of the Cincinnati Art Museum. He was a member of the National Gallery Art Committee. He exhibited at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts and the Art Institute of Chicago.
