sinew, 3 1/2 x 4 1/4" long, both with nice old patina, likely 19th

Outstanding Sioux Catlinite
Figural Pipe with Beaded Pipe Stem |
The pipe has a man and woman in
the act of copulation in the missionary position with man on top, 7"
long, with nice old patina and has been used. The stem has beads covering
circa 3/4 of its length with bands of white, red, blue, greasy yellow, blue
red and back to white of various widths with beading and traces of feathers
at pipe mount and horse hair under end of bead on shaft, 32" long x 2
1/2" wide. With nice dark patina to wood. |

margins, Lilely 20th century. Approximately 31 x 25". |
