Alfred de Breanski, Sr., a fine landscape artist. He painted many Welsh and Scottish landscapes. Born in London and married Annie Roberts, a talented Welsh artist, who met while painting in Wales. They had seven children, two of which followed in their parents' footsteps and became painters. His works are held in many museums including Sydney Museum, Southampton Art Gallery, New Castle on Tyne and others. Member of the Royal Society of British Artists and the New Watercolor Society.
