Alfred T. Ordway (Boston, Massachusetts, 1819-1897) 30" x 24" oil on canvas titled "The Proper Bostonian".Double signed lower right "A. Ordway" and dated "1894".Alfred Ordway opened a studio in Boston on Tremont Row in 1845 and in 1854 became a founding member of the Boston Art Club.
