A fine late 19th century, very
similar to some of the lamp bases used in early Tiffany oil lamps, hand
chased brass base with double burner and brass front, burner marked A.A.
Valentine & Co. 877 Broadway N.Y. The font was made to fit the base,
which is spun brass and not hand hammered as most Persian work, 9 inches
diameter x 10 inches high, all in fine old patina. |
