Case with cove molded crown molding, flanked by glass windows housing 24 individual mail addresses/cubby-holes of customers mail with oak plates where a name could be attached, all in original old varnish finish and made to sit atop a store counter, circa 1910, 48 x 10 x 44" high. 206 Rare Cigar Box Makers Advertising Piece Rare Cigar Box Makers Advertising Piece Made from wooden cigar box material this counter top advertising piece has a scroll-cut back with central oval chromolithograph of a Victorian Lady with surrounding stamped and blackened inscription reading "Hoffritz & Keyer/Manufacturers of/Cigar Boxes/Dayton, Ohio" with surrounding stmaped and blackened scroll work, the display has a small box on top labeled "Matches" and drawer below with brass handle with burled wood grained paper covering. The top shelf has two square recessed openings for containers for used matches, now missing, circa 1890, 5 x 8 1/2 x 10 1/4" high. Over-all wear to paper covering on lower section and portrait, some chips to wood, still an untouched early piece. 100 300

207 Roy Lopez El Gallo Cigar Plate Roy Lopez El Gallo Cigar Plate Chromolithographed tin marked on rear "Vienna Art Plates Pat. Feb. 21st 1905" with wonderful chromo figure of a fighting cock named El Gallo with 3 flanking circular vignettes of cock fights and "El Gallo" above and "Key West Ruy Lopez Ca.
