86 1920's PETERS AMMUNITION WINDOW DISPLAY SIGN WITH ORIGINAL BOX A wonderful unused five panel stand-up cardboard sign for the Peters Cartridge Co., Kings Mills, OH. The sign still retains its original bright vivid colors from being hid away in its original box for all these years. It depicts a different type of Peters Ammunition on each panel. The center panel depicts a duck hunter with High Velocity shotgun shells. The first left panel has children with a squirrel at top and .22 rifle cartridges. The second left panel includes a policeman with villain at top and Peters .38 bullets. The first right panel has hunters with quail at top and Victor shotgun shell box. The second right panel also has hunters with a ram and target at top advertising 30 Gout '06 bullets. Foxing and spot in Peters at top and small water spot in second right panel; otherwise, great condition. Also included is the original box with original wax paper and 12¢ Cleveland Stamp (Issued in 1923) with Kings Mills, Ohio post stamp. A great unused Cincinnati Advertising Sign. 32" h x 59" w.

88 1896 COCA-COLA CERAMIC SYRUP DISPENSER Stamped on the bottom of the bowl and base "Wheeling Pottery Co." in a wreath.  It has Coca-Cola embossed on both sides of bowl and other embossed designs as it should.  The fruit and yellow paint appears to have been added at the factory as it was probably a second and was going to be used to distribute another product.  Lid and spigot missing.  Line in base.  A few minor chips at inside top rim and two small chips at base of top.  The white glaze is still bright and not much brown discoloring, as there usually is.  A great Coca-Cola item.  18" h x 9 1/2" w.  EST. $500. - $1000. 93 EARLY FIREMAN'S LANTERN WITH GREEN GLOBE Early brass fireman's lantern with original green globe that has the letters "Ass't. F.E. " etched into it, which stands for Assistant Fire Engineer.  Early glass ring collars at top and bottom of globe.  Chips and cracks below bottom collar where it was permanently put in place at factory.  These are below the collar at the base of the globe and does not affect the appearance of the lantern in any way.  Burner missing.  Split in brass on ring and bolt missing.  A scarce lantern.  18" h. to top of handle.  EST. $500. - $1000. 95 LOCK-UP CIGAR OLD COUNTRY STORE CABINET Ca. 1880 two door cherry cigar display cabinet.  It contains twenty-one compartments with fifteen original Oriental Cigar Factory, N.Y. cigar boxes fronted with mahogany and used as drawers.  It also contains six early Wengler & Mandell, Chicago boxes which appears to be old replacements.  The cabinet has original finish and original paper tag on back.  Top display sign missing, one side molding at top missing and chip to front top molding.  19 1/2" x 18 1/4" x 11.  EST. $300. - $600. Meakin".  Also penciled on back stretcher "The Riffle, L.H. Meakin #25 Art Museum, Cincinnati, Ohio".  Lewis Henry Meakin was a skilled painter of landscapes of scenes along the Ohio River and during the summers at Gloucester and Cape Ann, Massachusetts.  Artist George Bellow called him "one of the best landscape painters in America".  He studied in Cincinnati with Artists Frank Duveneck and John Twachtman.  For 40 years Meakin was a teacher at the Cincinnati Art Academy and was also curator of the Cincinnati Museum.  Well listed artist.  This is a great painting of a Cincinnati scene.  Fine condition in original frame.  EST. $3000. - $6000. 105 THOMAS CORWIN LINDSAY (CINCINNATI, OH) OIL PAINTING Thomas Corwin Lindsay (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1845-1907) 12" x 14" oil on board of hunting dogs.  Signed with monogram lower right "T.C.L.".  Thomas Corwin Lindsay, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, was a well known painter of landscapes, animal subjects, and occasional portraits.  He was a founding member of the Cincinnati Art Club.  He exhibited at the Cincinnati Industrial Exposition from 1870-83, Pogue's in 1875, and the Art Institute of Chicago, Illinois in 1896.  His works is in the collection of the Cincinnati Art Museum.  Listed in Samuels, Who's Who, Davenports, etc.  Fine condition.  EST. $1000. - $3000.
